Biography

1962 Born in Fukui Prefecture Japan
1982 Graduated from Tokyo Designer College, Craft and Industrial Design Department Metal course
Selected Grand Prix of Graduation production
1987 Received the 17th Encouragement Prize of Nihon Kinkoten (Exhibition of Japanese Metal craft)
Received the first prize at the 34th Nihon Dento Kogeiten (Exhibition of Japanese Traditional Art Craft)
1993 Received the 23th Commissioner for Cultural Affairs Prize of Nihon Kinkoten (Exhibition of Japanese Metal craft)
1995 Received the 42th Japan craft Association, Nihon Kogeikai President's Award of Nihon Dento Kogeiten (Exhibition of Japanese traditional art craft)
Purchased by Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs and entered the Tokyo National Museum's Permanent Collection
One-man exhibition at Ikebukuro TOBU Department Store, Tokyo
